How to find your Google review link (and make it open the review form)
By Christopher Robinson · Updated · 4 min read
Short answer
Your Google review link comes from your Google Business Profile: search your business name on Google while signed in, choose “Ask for reviews” (or “Read reviews” → “Get more reviews”) and copy the link. It looks like g.page/r/…/review and opens the review form directly.

Where do I find my Google review link?
Sign in to the Google account that manages your Business Profile, search your exact business name on Google or open Google Maps, and find your profile's manager panel. Tap “Ask for reviews” — on some accounts it's under “Read reviews” then “Get more reviews” — and copy the link Google shows you.
- On a computer: google.com → search your business name → “Ask for reviews”
- On a phone: Google Maps app → You → your business → “Ask for reviews” or “Get more reviews”
- Copy the link, then open it in a private window to test it
What does a correct review link look like?
The short link Google gives you looks like https://g.page/r/ followed by a code and /review. Opening it should show the star-rating box for your business. A Maps or share link (maps.app.goo.gl/…) opens your listing instead, which adds steps and loses reviews.
| Link | What it opens | Use it? |
|---|---|---|
| g.page/r/…/review | The review form | Yes |
| search.google.com/local/writereview?placeid=… | The review form | Yes |
| maps.app.goo.gl/… | Your Maps listing | No |
| g.page/r/… (without /review) | Your profile | Add /review |
I can't find “Ask for reviews” — what now?
Make sure you're signed in to the Google account that owns or manages the profile and that the profile is verified. If it still doesn't appear, open business.google.com, choose your business and look for “Ask for reviews” on the home tab. You can also paste your business name into our free review link finder.
Where should I use my review link?
Anywhere a customer is already happy and holding a phone: on an NFC review card at checkout, in your receipt and invoice emails, in a follow-up text after the job, in your email signature and on your website's contact page. Use the same link everywhere so it's easy to update.
