How it works
One tap. Five stars. Ten seconds.
Here's exactly what your customer sees — the review form opens before the moment passes.
1. Customer taps
They hold their phone near the card at checkout. No app, no camera, no searching.
2. Your review form opens
Google's own “rate and review” screen for your business, ready for stars.
3. You climb the map
More fresh reviews build trust with the next customer — and Google uses reviews in local ranking.

Why it matters
More reviews means more calls.
People compare star ratings and review counts before they pick who to call — and Google says review count and score factor into local ranking. The problem isn't that customers won't review you. It's that nobody makes it easy at the right moment.
Front counter & register
Ask while they're paying and happy with the service — the tap takes ten seconds.
Barber chairs & salon stations
Stick one at every station so each stylist can ask after the mirror reveal.
Restaurant tables & check folders
Guests tap while they wait for the card to come back.
Service vans & job sites
Hand it over when the job is done and the customer is looking at the result.
Front desks & waiting rooms
Dentists, gyms, studios and clinics: one card at check-out.
Receipts, invoices & emails
Our free setup tool also makes a QR for your review link — print it on receipts so customers can review later, too.
Tap card vs. just asking
Most customers mean it when they say they'll leave a review. The card closes the gap between meaning it and doing it.
| Review tap card | “Please review us” | Paper QR sign | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Steps for the customer | Tap — the form opens | Search your name, find the listing, scroll, tap | Open camera, scan, wait |
| Catches them at the right moment | Yes — at checkout | They say “sure” and forget | Only if they notice it |
| App needed | No | No | No |
| Looks professional | Yes — printed card | — | Usually a taped-up printout |
When it arrives
Program it yourself in about 2 minutes.
Copy your review link from Google Business Profile, open the free NFC Tools app, write the link to the card. Our guide shows every tap — and checks your link for you.
- 1Find your review link in Google Business Profile
- 2Download NFC Tools (free, iPhone & Android)
- 3Write → Add a record → URL → paste → hold the card to your phone
- 4Tap to test — then stick it by the register
Play by Google's rules
Reviews that stick.
Fake or incentivized reviews get removed — and can get a profile suspended. The card is built for the honest way to grow.
- Ask every customer — Google wants reviews from all your customers.
- Reply to reviews, good and bad. It builds trust with the next customer.
- No discounts, freebies or contests in exchange for reviews.
- Don't only ask happy customers or screen people first (“review gating”).
- Never write reviews for customers, or have staff and family review you.

Review card questions
Still unsure? Ask it on the call — that's what it's for.
How does a Google review card work?
The card has an NFC chip that you program with your Google review link. When a customer holds their phone near the card, the phone opens your Google review form — they pick the stars, write a line and post.
Do my customers need an app?
No. iPhone XS and newer read NFC with no app, and so do most Android phones with NFC switched on (it's on by default on most). For older phones without NFC, our free setup tool makes a QR code for the same review link.
How do I set it up?
You write your review link to the card once, with the free NFC Tools app for iPhone or Android. It takes about two minutes. Our setup guide shows exactly where to find your review link in Google Business Profile and every tap in the app.
Does it work for any business?
Any business with a Google Business Profile — shops, restaurants, salons, barbers, contractors, auto shops, clinics, gyms and studios. If you don't have a profile yet, book a free call and we'll help you set one up.
Can I change the link later?
Yes. Rewrite the card in the app anytime — for example if you open a second location. The only exception is if you choose to lock the card, which makes it permanent.
Is asking for reviews this way allowed by Google?
Yes. Google encourages businesses to ask customers for reviews and provides the review link for exactly this. What's not allowed is offering incentives, asking only happy customers, or posting fake reviews. The card just makes asking quick.
Is there a QR code on the card?
No — it's a clean NFC tap card, so it looks premium on a counter. If you also want a QR code (for receipts, invoices or customers with older phones), our free setup tool makes one for your exact review link that you can print.
Will it work through a phone case?
Through most cases, yes. Very thick, metal or magnetic wallet cases can block NFC — the customer just slips the phone out.
How long does shipping take?
Ships in 1–2 business days from Atlanta, GA, and it arrives 2–5 business days after it ships (usps). Shipping is free in the US.
What if my card doesn't work?
If a card won't program or tap, we replace it or refund you — just tell us within 30 days of delivery.
What are the card specs?
NTAG215 NFC chip with 504 bytes user memory, waterproof pvc, matte finish, 85.5 × 54 mm (credit-card size), 0.76 mm thick. White matte front with “Review Us On Google”, black back with the Google G.
